Visiting the Malaga airport and the Aviation Museum

Yesterday, a group of 4th ESO students, together with their teachers, went out of the classroom to learn a bit about the Malaga airport and the history of aviation while they practised English.

Students in the E and G groups had the chance to put their English skills to the test by doing interviews to travellers at Malaga airport. And they did it with flying colours!

Besides, we took an imaginary flight from Malaga to London Gatwick. An Aena guide led us through all the steps preceding takeoff, as well as those following landing.

Meanwhile, students from the A group were visiting the Aviation Museum. Here, they could hop on a plane and see a pilot's cockpit.

It was a great day! We learnt interesting facts about aviation and the Malaga airport. For example, did you know it takes its code - AGP - from the Roman name of the city, Agripina?

a) Share with us any interesting information you learned in the trip, and
b) leave your opinion about the experience.

Thanks, your comments will be of great use for future experiences.

  2. It was a good experience. It was an interesting excursion for us. We had been talking about this wonderful lesson in the airport. It´s the first time we have visited a pilot cabinet with all the instruments about the flight.
Later, we got into an old plane to watch the Aviation Museum where we could see old magazines, lady old bags and passenger old cases. We enjoyed a lot.

I think that the school trip has been boring because I don´t like walking in the airport. I have only liked talking with English people.
